It has both hydrophilic and oleophilic genes, with wetting, emulsification, foaming and other functions. The first class product is milky white waxy solid, soluble in methanol, ethanol, chloroform, acetone, ether and other solutions
If stored under warm conditions, monosstearate glycerides can increase acid values due to the presence of trace amounts of water and ester saponification, effective antioxidants such as BHT and propyl gallate can be added.
